Janice Carleen Linster, CID, LEED AP, WELL AP

Janice Carleen Linster is the Strategy Director for Gensler’s North Central region. Largely focused on the corporate workplace, her experience as a strategist and client leader spans over 30 years working with a variety of public and private clients. Embracing a human-centered design approach, Janice advocates for experiential outcomes and pairs art and science to solve design problems.

Welcoming an evolutionary mindset, Janice continues to broaden her knowledge and expertise through ongoing education in both business and design, and she has acquired certifications in LEED, WELL, ethnography, and design thinking. Her push to uncover the greater relationship between global influences, business, people, and space, has led to her participation in research and presentations on a variety of topics surrounding the occupant experience. Janice is an active CoreNet Midwest Board member, a critic and speaker at the University of Minnesota College of Design, and a present and past board member for several non-profit organizations.
