Delta Sky Club at LAX

Gensler infused the design of the new Delta Sky Club at LAX with intimate spaces that reflect local experiences within the lounge to give premium passengers a sense of privacy and hospitality during their travels. Following check in, guests ascend a monumental staircase or escalators, passing beneath dazzling ceiling fixtures that are modeled after ocean waves. This leads to a custom wood-screened area that marks the Club’s entrance and unveils a lounge outfitted with seating options to accommodate a wide variety of preferences and needs, including private phone booths for quiet work and theater-style seating for viewing a media wall.

Uniquely local hidden gems add a sense of delight and are woven throughout the space, such as the Coffee Grotto, a nook that offers a glamorous peek into the ambiance of Hollywood’s Golden Age with an exquisite mosaic mural. The airport lounge design features a series of “rooms” designed to reflect the lushness, variety, and luxury of the “city of entertainment” and meet Delta’s vision to deliver a signature club experience for its loyal customers.
