Biola University Campus

Gensler has undertaken a number of campus projects for this private Christian college in Southern California, including the Crowell School of Business, Talbot School of Theology, Prayer Chapel and a five-story dormitory building. Classroom and residential buildings incorporate state-of-the-art technology and maximize natural daylight, offering shared spaces that encourage social interaction and discourse. Horton Hall, the dormitory, connects the campus’s academic core and student living and features a large landscaped courtyard for residents. In the Prayer Chapel, every surface has been worked by hand, differentiating it from the prefabricated assemblies of its host building.
